About My Clients
I support individuals/couples looking to explore childhood trauma or wounds, negative beliefs of self, and/or sexual shame that may be lingering and getting in the way of the person they want to be. Whether we like it or not, many of the negative beliefs we believe about ourselves and in our relationships are shaped by the early relationships we formed or struggled to form. The good news is we can gain awareness of these wounds and seek ways to connect with ourselves and those around us.
My Background and Approach
A common theme I see in many of the clients I support are patterns of engaging in self criticism, experiencing shame, always giving but feeling as if no one ever gives same effort back, and/or wanting to improve their relationships but are anxious about communicating their feelings. Sex therapy interventions are also something I provide as I work towards becoming a Certified Sex Therapist. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and/or Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) in my work. Whether you are ready to work on being confident, a more present parent, a better partner, or someone who can finally stop living in “survival mode” but have no idea where to start, allow me to help you find a way.
