About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, and couples from a diverse background struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life adjustments. I believe in a collaborative and trusting relationship with clients that helps to empower them in their areas of need, while also encouraging them to use their strengths and learn tools to overcome difficulties.
My Background and Approach
I use a trauma-informed, person-centered, psychodynamic, and mindfulness based approach to therapy, creating an empathic space for you to feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My practice is rooted in approaches that are compassionate and non-judgmental. I use a variety of techniques from breath work to creative expression to help clients heal, grow, and develop a healthy way of living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the client is the expert of their experience and aim to meet them wherever they are at in life. I create a safe and non-judgmental space full of empathy, and I help clients to to feel comfortable sharing their story regardless of who they are and where they come from. I know that therapy can be hard and even a little awkward but it is also a self-reflecting process that I am honored to be a part of for any period of time.
