About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to handle everything life is throwing at you right now? Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, friendship or relationship challenges, difficult emotions, or navigating a big life transition. Whether you’re a teen figuring out friendships and school stress, a young adult navigating change, or simply feeling like things have been harder lately, you don’t have to face it alone.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe each person already has strengths within them, and together we can build on those strengths while developing practical tools to help you cope, grow, and feel more confident in navigating life’s challenges. I value authenticity and meaningful connection, and I believe healing begins in a supportive therapeutic relationship where you feel heard and accepted. I incorporate evidence-based approaches into my work, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, person-centered therapy, strengths-based interventions, and mindfulness-based techniques. I aim to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, and develop coping strategies they can carry into everyday life. Above all, I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be yourself, feel supported, and work toward meaningful growth at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where every person feels safe, respected, and fully accepted as they are. I am deeply committed to providing inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirming care and honoring each client’s identity, including gender identity, sexual orientation, culture, race, religion, and lived experience. I welcome and support clients from all backgrounds and strive to create a space grounded in dignity, respect, and understanding. I also hold a strong commitment to racial justice, equity, and ongoing cultural humility in my work, recognizing that each person’s experiences are shaped by many different parts of their identity and environment. I continue to learn, reflect, and grow to provide the most affirming care possible. There is no discrimination in my practice—everyone is welcome here, and every story matters. My goal is to create a warm, open, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up authentically, feel truly seen and heard, and move toward healing at your own pace.
