About My Clients

I work with teens and adults who are ready for things to feel different. Many come in feeling stretched thin, managing responsibilities while quietly carrying stress, self-doubt, or old wounds. In therapy, you’ll have space to be heard and supported as we uncover your strengths, clarify what matters most to you, and build the confidence and tools to create meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a background in school counseling (PPS credential) and years of experience supporting teens and adults in community mental health, school-based programs, and private practice. My work often focuses on helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, and Solution-Focused techniques, and tailor therapy to each client’s needs. My approach is collaborative and supportive, grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. In our work together, you can expect a space where you feel safe to be yourself, explore challenges, and build tools for coping, communication, and self-confidence. My goal is to help you move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel seen, safe, and valued for who they are. My work is guided by values of equity, inclusion, and compassion, and I strive to honor each client’s unique story and identity. I am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider and an advocate for mental health access and social justice. Much of my experience has been in community mental health and school-based settings, supporting youth and families who have faced systemic barriers to care. That work deepened my commitment to creating spaces where people can show up as their full selves and be met with empathy, curiosity, and respect. I am also deeply interested in the impact of immigration on family dynamics and identity development, and I approach this work with cultural humility, sensitivity, and care. These values shape how I show up in the therapy room every day.
