About My Clients
The folks who choose to work with me are often struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, gender exploration or transition, coming out, or navigating neurodivergence.
My Background and Approach
I use insight-oriented therapy to help deepen the person’s knowing of themselves. The goal is to gain insight into the complex interplay of cognitive dynamics within one’s mind, the possible origins of the difficulties, factors that may contribute, and strengths and skills one has to help them move through their challenges and grow. I also take intentional steps to help neutralize the power dynamic between client and therapist, so that I may serve as a supportive guide and for the client to be empowered. Communication options are offered for therapy sessions, such as live chat, audio call, or video call, to accommodate different expressive communication styles.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in people living in alignment with their values. In gentle perseverance. In small things actually measuring up to be big things. I’m a member of the chronically ill, disabled, trans, and neurodivergent communities, so supporting others who are navigating similar challenges is very close to my heart.
