About My Clients
Most people, guys in particular, are hesitant and a little nervous to check out therapy. What happens and will it work for me? In most cases, therapy can be a key tool in resolving past issues, finding new roads, and moving your life in the direction you desire and deserve. I provide a laid back atmosphere and can help facilitate change in what area you desire.
My Background and Approach
When choosing a therapist it is important to consider many different perspectives. First and most importantly, is this someone that you will be comfortable working with? Education and experience are also factors in the decision. However, when it comes right down to it, it’s about connecting. I have heard from many of my clients about negative experiences in the past with therapists and how they feel like nothing really happened. I believe my clients experience this differently. If I cannot assist and we don’t connect, I will use my network to ensure you connect with the right therapist. For me, it is about the success of the individual, not adding a client. I have been trained in IMAGO relationship theory and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and enjoy working with couples. I enjoy working with men who are not sure about the counseling thing.
