About My Clients
My clients often carry invisible wounds—medical trauma, relational rupture, or the weight of being the strong one. They’re caregivers, cycle breakers, and survivors whose nervous systems are tired and stories feel heavy. I offer a soft place to land, a steady presence, and a space where even the most burdened parts are met with warmth, curiosity, and the possibility of relief and repair. You deserve support that sees your whole story, not just your symptoms.
My Background and Approach
Over the years, I’ve gathered a toolkit of trauma-informed strategies that help clients feel grounded, connected, and more in charge of their inner world. Whether we’re working with anxiety, medical trauma, or relational rupture, I’ll offer techniques you can carry with you—like somatic tracking, parts mapping, and breath-based regulation. I’m collaborative and curious, and I’ll meet you where you are. We’ll start with what’s happening in the moment and build toward lasting relief. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), approaches I’ve studied deeply and use often in my work. I’ll help you understand what’s going on in your nervous system when fear or overwhelm takes over. Together, we’ll create space for your parts to feel seen, soothed, and supported—so you can move toward healing with clarity and confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is always possible. No matter your age or what you’ve been through, you carry resilience. My clinical work is rooted in trauma-informed care, and my values are shaped by a deep belief in human dignity, relational repair, and the power of presence. I’m connected with NASW and PASG, and I’m always learning, through study, and the wisdom my clients bring into the room. I believe that therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and gently challenging. I’ll meet you with warmth, steadiness, and a deep respect for your pace. Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in beading, gardening, and spending time with my family and our bluetick coonhound. These rituals remind me of the beauty in tending—whether it’s soil, stories, or nervous systems. I bring that same care into my work. I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to walk alongside you as you unburden, reconnect, and reclaim the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be seen.
