I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Social Work degree from Azusa Pacific University. I am passionate and honored to partner with Black/People of Color, young adults, older adults, navigating life & health transitions, caregiver stress, grief and loss, faith related, religious/spiritual distress, stress, chronic illness, health concerns, depression, anxiety, self esteem, and interpersonal relationship support.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is centered around Person-Centered care, Wholistic, Culturally-Sensitive, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Grief Therapy/Bereavement Support, Strengths-Based Perspective, Motivational Interviewing, Faith Integrated Interventions/Christian, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Therapy.

Life brings about various challenges and triumphs. I maintain the belief that individuals were created to experience a positive sense of wellness, while acknowledging that it takes purposeful effort to get there. I also believe that we're all starting from a different foundation and I endeavor to be intentional in supporting you in finding the proper tools to navigate through your journey.
