About My Clients
I specialize in working with those who identify as neurodivergent, gender nonconforming, LGBTQIA+, sex positive, polyamorous, or within the bdsm and leather communities. Prospective clients may be seeking to understand their gender/sexual identities, how to work with their neurodivergent brains, or desirous of working through complex childhood trauma through inner child healing and exploration.
My Background and Approach
At Thea Integrative Therapy, I help people reconnect with their authentic selves and align their lives with their truest joyful expression. My approach blends depth and playfulness — because therapy doesn’t have to feel dry or clinical to be meaningful. Healing can be both meaningful and lighthearted, and I believe that laughter, creativity, and curiosity belong in the room just as much as insight and reflection do. Think of our work together as expansive play therapy for grown-ups and inner children alike — or two people engaged in an honest, compassionate, and deeply human conversation. My goal is to create a space where you can explore, experiment, and grow while feeling genuinely seen and supported. My work is integrative, relational, and creative. I draw from a range of modalities. At its core, my work is person-centered — you are the expert of your life. I’m here to hold up a mirror that helps you deepen your self-awareness and autonomy in aligning your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the resiliency of the human spirit and the integration of the unique needs of the mind, body, and spirit to enable you to thrive in life. We are all unique individuals that experience emotional struggles related to the needs of our Core Self to be seen, heard, and validated in our feelings. Through understanding and integrating the needs of the mind, body, and soul, we can give voice to your innate desires and work through the internalized beliefs that are no longer serving you. I highlight the complexity of your individual spirit with positive and affirmative treatment. When we are able to wade through the bogs of past traumas, and work with, rather than against, your symptom presentation, you can learn how to support a lifestyle of genuine self expression, purpose, and unadulterated joy.
