About My Clients
I invite individuals and couples, including non-romantic couples and people in diverse relationship orientations, to explore what it means to create safety, healing, and community while navigating survival in and liberation from harmful environments. I have experiencing working with people from diverse backgrounds, including individuals who are LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodiverse.
My Background and Approach
I work in collaboration with clients to develop the skills and self-knowledge to achieve client-identified goals, which can range from processing experiences to improving coping abilities, and everything beyond and in between. I utilize strategies primarily drawn from person-centered, narrative, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and ecotherapy modalities. I am especially experienced with issues stemming from depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and intergenerational wounds.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in an intersectional and social justice perspective. I believe that people are experts in their own experiences and recognize that "progress" looks different for everyone. In my personal life, I am passionate about trans/queer rights, collective liberation, celebrating found family.
