About My Clients
I help individuals and couples heal from trauma, relationship struggles, and faith transitions. You’re not broken—you’re becoming. Together, we’ll explore your story with compassion and rebuild trust in yourself and others. Whether you’re questioning beliefs, recovering from pain, or seeking peace, therapy can help you find connection, growth, and repair.
My Background and Approach
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #146188), I’ve trained in evidence-based approaches that help clients heal from trauma, anxiety, and relationship distress. My background includes training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). These tools help clients repair trust, release fear, and reconnect with themselves and others. I’m also a PhD candidate in Developmental Psychology, focusing on resiliency—how people rebuild strength after hardship. My therapeutic approach is warm, faith-informed, and trauma-aware, designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re recovering from betrayal, navigating a faith transition, or struggling to find peace in daily life, our work together will focus on growth, connection, and repair—so you can move forward with confidence and compassion for yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when we embrace our whole story—every crack, scar, and moment of growth. My work is inspired by the belief that brokenness doesn’t define us; it refines us. That’s also the meaning behind Kintsugi—the art of repairing with gold, honoring what was once broken as something stronger and more beautiful. My faith informs my compassion, and my practice welcomes clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and identities. I’m especially passionate about supporting those navigating faith transitions, religious trauma, and cultural identity shifts. I value authenticity, curiosity, and grace—meeting people where they are, without judgment. Outside of the therapy room, I’m an advocate for mental health awareness, trauma-informed education, and resilience research. I believe that small acts of empathy can create lasting change, and that each person’s healing journey contributes to a more compassionate world.
