About My Clients
I enjoy working with teens, adults, couples, and families from a variety of backgrounds. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or others. I often work with individuals struggling with identity exploration, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and mood or personality disorders. I also support clients who are navigating relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, trauma, and family dynamics.
My Background and Approach
I bring both personal and professional experience to my work as a therapist. Having been in therapy myself, I understand the courage it takes to seek help and enjoy guiding others to discover their own solutions. I have over a decade of experience in mental health, working with individuals, couples, and families across settings including crisis intervention, substance use treatment, group therapy, and higher levels of care such as inpatient, PHP, and IOP programs. I take a collaborative approach, meeting each client where they are in their journey. My work is grounded in empathy and self-compassion, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore, grow, and build lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value respect and honesty in the therapeutic relationship and prioritize creating a safe, supportive space for every client. Building strong rapport is essential, as I believe one of the healthiest relationships a client can have is the one with their therapist. Sessions provide a meaningful opportunity to practice and apply relational skills, helping clients strengthen connections both within themselves and in their relationships outside of therapy.
