About My Clients
Life feels especially heavy and it’s hard to explain to others what you’re carrying. You want to feel close to the people in your life, but it feels difficult to connect when your struggles often feel invisible. You wish you could show up as your true self, but something seems to keep holding you back. If this feels familiar, know that you are not alone. With the right support, things can change. You can create deeper, more fulfilling relationships and find a sense of ease within yourself.
My Background and Approach
I use a variety of approaches based on the unique needs of each person I work with. At the heart of my work is a person-centered and strength based approach. I utilize various modalities in my practice including TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), somatic approaches, attachment focussed work and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I completed post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family and post-graduate training at the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I utilize this experience and training heavily in my work with patients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my experience, the more we can learn about the way your mind works, the way you connect with others, and the stories that dictate your experience, the more space there is for change and fulfillment.
