About My Clients
I work with clients who may be feeling the weight of depression, trauma, or painful relationship and family struggles. In our early sessions, we'll gently explore relational patterns, creating a safe space to understand each other more deeply. Together, we'll build a path forward that fosters healing, trust, and connection.
My Background and Approach
For nearly 3 decades, I have worked with Adolescents and their families at group home agencies and local school districts. I have worked with couples since 2007 utilizing the Prepare- Enrich program. In 2017, I started my private practice to serve clients in the Inland Empire area — offering them a wide range of counseling and psychological services to guide them through life’s challenges and most trying times. As a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist, I understand the complexities and challenges that can arise within relationships and family dynamics. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals, couples, and families to navigate through their personal struggles and find healing. With over 27 years of experience in the field, I am dedicated to helping my clients develop healthier communication patterns, strengthen connections, build fulfilling relationships, and overall improve mental health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in family and relationships. I am also very open to the idea that families and relationships come in all different orientations, and cultures. I have worked with children in different capacities (I used to be a preschool teacher and scout leader as well as therapist) and their families. I see the healing that can happen when help and guidance is provided. Unhealthy communication is the biggest barrier to successful relationships. Even financial issues usually start with poor communication. When we can be our authentic self, communicate in a respectful, caring manner, and also listen to learn and not judge, not only do we grow, but our relationships blossom. I love walking along side others while they grow and help to guide a path towards your goals.
