My Background and Approach
Counseling for individuals coping with grief and loss, illness, and other life transitions. My background includes a wide range of therapeutic concerns addressing adjustment to illness, depression, anxiety, behavioral changes, grief/loss, and adoption issues. I use cognitive and behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy and self compassion therapy. I am passionate about supporting my clients as they walk through difficult times in their life. I practice with a kind and gentle approach using proven strategies to help clients regain control and move forward with a focus on building resilience and overall healthy functioning.
