About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who want to expand their sense of self by healing from or renegotiating trauma, experiencing courageous growth, and continuing to discover and integrate their values. Many of my clients experience anxiety and depression. We explore what their difficulties have been telling them and how to begin to experience life differently. I help clients prepare for and integrate psychedelic experiences from ketamine or personal exploration.
My Background and Approach
I am advanced trained in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and also have training in IFS, DBT, ERP, mindfulness and other somatic approaches. I am trained in psychedelic harm reduction and integration (PHRI) through Fluence. I believe that the body holds our pain, but that it also holds the wisdom and power to help us heal. My approaches aim to build my client's abilities to access that inner healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in life, love, compassion, and the ability to heal. I believe in caring for our planet and caring for each other and caring for ourselves. I believe in the power of moving outside our normal relationship to life in order to create space for change--whether through breath work, mindfulness, ART or non-ordinary states of consciousness. I am passionate about helping those all over the spectrum of LDS and post-LDS experience including supporting them through faith crisis/transition, reclaiming choice in belief, managing grief and conflict when an individual leaves and processing the complicated intersection of LGBTQ+ community and the church.
