My Personal Beliefs and Interests
This is a summary of my role as a Therapist, I hope one day your Therapist: Children and Families find an Advocate. Tweens and Teens find a listening ear and a companion who can help guide and resolve problems. Adults find a nonjudgmental listener, a discerning analyst, and an effective helper in problem solving. I have a passion for issues of culture and language and therefore an interest in working with Immigrant and Minority Populations, both in my Counseling Practice and in Volunteering. When not working, you might find me practicing yoga and meditation, walking in nature and doing other outdoor sports, studying languages, reading and writing, baking, and playing with my family of three plus an exchange high school student and a dynamic number of cats, depending on the status of kitten adoption.
