About My Clients
I specialize in caring for members of the LGBTQ+ community and those seeking healing from difficult religious experiences. I primarily work with adolescents and adults offering individual counseling. My clinical interests include depression and anxiety, mood disorders, sexual orientation, gender identity, adolescent issues, grief and loss, life transitions and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
I pride myself on being a competent, compassionate, accepting, and client-focused therapist. I prefer to not only use my developed skill set, but also the client’s strengths and resources to meet their individualized needs and accomplish their therapeutic goals in a timely manner. I work collaboratively with my clients to clarify goals for treatment, develop practical skills to move forward, and to deepen the understanding of oneself through our therapeutic relationship.
