About My Clients
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with both teens and adults in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. I especially enjoy supporting young adults as they navigate the challenges of independence, identity, and transition.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in the belief that none of us exist in isolation—family dynamics, cultural expectations, and the larger systems we’re part of all shape how we see ourselves and what feels possible. In the therapy room, I work to honor those influences while also helping you discover the choices and strengths that are uniquely yours. I was drawn to Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) because it gives structure to the often overwhelming process of change. I’ve seen it help people cope with suicidal thoughts, self-harm urges, grief, trauma, and other painful experiences in ways that move them toward stability and hope. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to walk with you as you sort through what matters most and build a life that feels like your own.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You might feel stuck in old patterns, unsure of who you are, or like you’re carrying more than you can handle. I want you to know you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. In our work together, I bring curiosity, authenticity, compassion, honesty, and a healthy dose of dry humor to help lighten the heaviness (because even hard work doesn’t have to feel joyless!!).
