About My Clients
Seeking support for yourself or your family member is a brave step. My work focuses on supporting those living with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, neurodiversity, family conflict past and present, emotional dysregulation and repression, life transitions, issues of childhood and adolescence, gender identity development, expatriate stressors, relationship issues, parent/caregiver concerns, grief and overall self care.
My Background and Approach
I utilize an eclectic approach by drawing from various strengths-based and evidenced-based practices, such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Circle of Security to empower clients with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to achieve their individualized goals. My aim is to provide a safe, collaborative space in which I can support you in examining your lived experiences, explore resources, and together, formulate goals for your future. As a therapist, I encourage healing and growth by developing trusting relationships with my clients and identifying ways in which they can draw from their strengths and gain skills to improve their quality of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is a vehicle for gaining insight into thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior as well as developing hope for the future. I believe that every individual has value and is deserving of a compassionate, non judgmental space for processing their lived experiences and goals. I look forward to joining you in establishing a sense of hope and exploring what the therapeutic process might look like for you.
