About My Clients
I work with children and teens struggling with temper tantrums, anxiety, low self-esteem, or anger outbursts. I provide play, sand tray, and art therapy techniques to help them express their feelings openly, learn healthy communication styles and develop coping mechanisms they can use daily. I also enjoy working with adults that struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, pandemic issues and relationship problems. My goal is to help them achieve peace of mind.
My Background and Approach
I use a Person-Centered approach to therapy to accept each client as is, free from judgement. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients challenge irrational thoughts and develop a healthier positive mindset towards life. I use mindfulness to teach clients techniques that help them remain present and grounded. I use Brainspotting to help clients overcome traumatic experiences from their past, and to get through areas of their life where they feel stuck. I try to equip each client with their own toolbox of coping skills that they can use in the future as needed.
