About My Clients
You might look capable on the outside while quietly carrying anxiety, self-doubt, and a sense of never feeling settled. Many of my clients are processing religious or spiritual harm, toxic work environments, or attachment wounds that shape how they see themselves and relate to others. Some are navigating reentry after incarceration or supporting a loved one who is. What they share is a readiness to stop managing and start healing.
My Background and Approach
I'm licensed in Utah (ACMHC) and hold credentials as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). My MS in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling is from Mercer University. Since 2024 I've provided trauma therapy through a reentry program supporting women returning to the community after incarceration. My primary modality is EMDR, which works directly with how distressing experiences are stored in the brain and body — without requiring you to extensively retell them. I integrate CBT, attachment-based, psychodynamic, and humanistic principles, alongside psychoeducation and emotion-focused exploration. The work is collaborative, paced by you, and grounded in your values. I work with clients from all backgrounds, identities, and belief systems, and offer a nonjudgmental space where faith, spirituality, and identity can be explored whenever relevant.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are shaped by their experiences — not broken by them. Patterns that once made sense as survival strategies can become the very things that keep us stuck, and that shift is possible to make. I work with clients from all backgrounds, identities, and belief systems, and I hold a genuinely nonjudgmental space around faith, spirituality, culture, and identity. Whether you're deconstructing a religious background, navigating a faith transition, or simply trying to understand why you feel the way you do — you don't have to edit yourself here.
