My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have experience in a wide variety of settings and working with a myriad of client issues. This has enabled me to fine tune my skills and expertise. The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been perfecting over my career through a lot of trial, error, and success. I am direct and solution focused. My goal is to provide an environment that is compassionate and empowering, while challenging you to make true, lasting change. We will work together to identify the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors leading to dysfunction in your life. Through therapy, you'll develop greater confidence in navigating life's challenges. You deserve to life the life you want, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are far more capable and resilient than they give themselves credit for. I also believe that everyone is capable of leading a full life, no matter what struggles they are currently experiencing. Everyone feels "bad" sometimes, and that's ok! Just because you feel "bad" now, doesn't mean you need to feel that way forever. You have the ability to make change, you just need to believe in your ability to do so!
