About My Clients

My clients are brave, even if they don’t always feel it. They show up ready to do the hard work in order to secure peace in their lives. Many are struggling with intense worry, fear, or burnout, and they’re ready to feel better. Whether it's childhood wounds, societal pressures, or biology driving your anxiety, we’ll dive deep into your unique experiences. Together, we'll take an affirming, skills-based approach to healing, you move toward the life of freedom and authenticity you deserve.

My Background and Approach

My background is in social justice and empowerment. I have a Master's Degree in social work and provide therapy under my clinical social work license. My career started in medical social work which eventually led me to provide grief counseling in a community setting. I still enjoy grief counseling, but started private practice therapy to support people experiencing the issues most meaningful to me: fear, worry, shame, and OCD. I take an affirming and collaborative approach to therapy. I'm curious about your experiences and your innate expertise. I work with my clients, guiding them, as we identify what is most important and aligning these things alongside your unique goals and our data-driven approach to change. I aim to provide a safe space where you will feel seen and understood as your most authentic self and... maybe even get to laugh a little through it all.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the incredible power of connection - connection to other people, the natural world, and ourselves. In a society that is driven by individualism and competition, it's easy to lose the healing power that community and connection bring. I believe in intersectionality and that our environment and life experiences should not be pathologized. This is a primary reason that I am an out-of-network provider. I value protecting the confidentiality of my clients above all and opt out of unethical corporate restrictions and limitations imposed by health insurance companies. I prefer to work with my clients to set equitable rates for services provided, not insurance companies. I believe watching reality TV, spending as much time outside as possible, eating delicious food, wearing comfortable clothes, laughing with loved ones, and listening to live music are all key elements to a beautiful life.
