About My Clients
Are things hard for you or your family? Are you trying everything but it still isn't working? Maybe your child is struggling, discouraged or behaving in a way you didn't expect. Many children (and adults) need strategies that match their learning style, or that need adjusting as life changes. With ADHD, oppositional behavior or Autism, navigating the world can be even harder. I can help you identify the things you are already doing well and show you options for things you want to change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is gentle, caring and non-judgmental. I hope you will feel welcome and comfortable in a warm setting. We'll design a "road map" for your journey that enhances your (or your child's) self esteem and enhances your relationships. So many of us need individual support for stressful situations. Part of my role is to be a "translator" and shed light on what our behavior might be communicating about ourselves and each other. I can help you recognize tools for living that you may not realize you have, and teach you new strategies that have been helpful for others. You will gain insight into yourself and have a chance to decide which beliefs, relationships and characteristics you want to nurture and grow, and which ones you want to change. There are no right or wrong answers in your quest. I will help you choose the ones that work for you.
