About My Clients
Are you going through a life transition, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, or struggling to reconnect with yourself? Maybe you're navigating a breakup, school/work stress, or feeling uncertain about what comes next. I work with people looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space to slow down, understand what they're experiencing & develop healthier ways of coping & moving forward. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, & more connected to yourself as you navigate whatever life brings your way.
My Background and Approach
I am a Graduate Counseling Intern currently completing my Master's degree in Professional Counseling Psychology at Florida International University, providing counseling under clinical supervision. My background in psychology and experience supporting individuals through different life transitions have shaped my belief that therapy should be a space where you can feel safe, heard, and free to be yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches, adapting our work to your individual needs and goals. Together, we can explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. I believe therapy is not about having all the answers, but about creating a space where you can slow down, reflect, and move toward the life that feels meaningful to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is a space where you should feel safe to be yourself, without judgment or the pressure to have everything figured out. I believe people have the capacity to grow, change, and better understand themselves throughout every stage of life. As someone who values culture and the experiences that shape who we are, I appreciate the importance of understanding each person within their unique background and story. Outside of counseling, I love spending time in nature, exploring new places, finding good coffee shops, being surrounded by plants and doing some yoga. I also enjoy mindfulness and believe that creating moments to slow down and reconnect with ourselves can make a meaningful difference in our everyday lives.
