About My Clients
You feel everything deeply—other people's moods, the news, the room. Your dreams and nightmares are vivid, and you've never had language for them. Maybe you're questioning your relationship with alcohol, or newly sober and learning who you are without it. Maybe you're pregnant or postpartum and no one warned you how much would surface. My clients are highly sensitive dreamers who think about their feelings rather than feel them and want to change that.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University, where my training was rooted in somatics, contemplative practice, and the understanding that the body knows things the mind hasn't caught up to yet. I'm trained in Brainspotting (Level 1), Embark psychedelic-assisted therapy, and the Acudetox ear acupuncture protocol for stress and trauma support. Before I was a therapist, I was a yoga teacher—since 2006, with certifications in prenatal/postnatal, pelvic floor, and children's yoga—and a certified birth doula (ToLabor, 2013). Nearly two decades of embodiment work shapes how I sit with people: slowly, in the body, with room for what's underneath the words. My approach is person-centered and somatic, integrating evidence-based methods with ritual, dreamwork, and intuition. We'll track sensation, work with the images your sleeping mind offers, and build the kind of self-trust that doesn't require anyone else's permission.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am inclusive and care about my local and wider community. I have a non-judgemental approach as a therapist. I believe it our birthright to connect and feel safe.
