About My Clients

I work with teens, adults and relationships living with ADHD and Autism. I have a great deal of experience working with LGBTQIA folks, with specific interest and experience in supporting the trans community. Additionally, I have experience working with poly and non-monogamous people and their relationships, offering a nonjudgmental, supportive space to explore your experience.

My Background and Approach

My approach is collaborative and conversational, utilizing internal family systems as well as somatic awareness approaches. My overarching goal of my work with you is in building deeper awareness of yourself and the cycles affecting your functioning. Poly and non-monogamous relationships come with their own unique challenges—communication, boundaries, as well as navigating stigma. My approach is affirming, open-minded, kink friendly, and grounded in understanding that there's no one-size-fits-all when it comes to love and connection. I'm a former early childhood educator and devoted child advocate. I enjoy writing and speaking on this topic, and some of my works and musings can be found in periodicals, magazines, and textbooks. My philosophy as an educator was to empower learning through diminishing a power dynamic between myself as an authority and others. Similarly now I

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a mental health worker, I take my self-care very seriously both in the spirit of maintaining my wellbeing, as well as in the spirit of modeling self care to my clients. My values are very present in my life and work, and are informed by supporting empowerment and self-advocacy in many forms. I have a background in the arts, and painting is a passion that allows me to reflect, release emotions, and find joy in the simplicity of color and texture. I deeply enjoy music and film, especially exploring broad societal themes such as isolation, depression, and social connectivity. I'm also a part of the LGBTQIA community and a polyamorous person myself-something I'm proud to share about myself in connection to the community as well as in my work. I love a good laugh, and the joy that comes from genuine connection.
