Negative thoughts can impair how people function. As a clinical social worker, I enjoy working with people to enable them to challenge their negative ways of thinking as a means to reach a state of both clarity and calm.
My Background and Approach
As a clinical social worker, I provide support throughout the journey while promoting autonomy and engagement. To assist those that I engage, I practice mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma focused, play therapy, and solution focused therapy to aide in reaching a state of homeostasis. As a provider, we'll also discuss mood regulating techniques to assist in regulating the body and mind when feeling dysregulated.
