About My Clients
Do you struggle to feel understood or feel comfortable in your own body? Do overwhelming thoughts and emotions seem to come out of nowhere? Do you really want to change different aspects of your life, but really struggle to figure out why the change just hasn't occurred yet? Therapy can be intimidating at first. I am here to say that change is possible, and you don't have to go through it alone. I look forward to helping you on your journey to healing.
My Background and Approach
I really enjoy getting to learn more about my clients' stories and seeing how their current concerns fit within the context of their entire life. I meet you where you are at, and we will work through tools and techniques to help bring the healing and change that you want in your life. I am person-centered in my approach, meaning that you are the expert on yourself, and what you want will help guide therapy. I provide education on what is happening in your brain and in your body, and we will work through strategies so that you feel more in control. We will also work on identifying your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you will understand more on what's happening in your present life.
