About My Clients
I work with adults who look like they have it all together but feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or stuck underneath it. I especially support individuals from BIPOC and marginalized communities navigating identity, relationships, burnout, and emotional overwhelm. I create a space where you don’t have to perform or over-explain yourself — just show up as you are. Together, we build self-trust, clarity, and a deeper connection to yourself.
My Background and Approach
I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida, including an M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Mental Health Counseling, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. My approach is collaborative, relational, and centered around your voice and lived experiences. Together, we’ll work toward understanding patterns that no longer serve you, building insight and self-awareness, and helping you feel more connected to yourself in a way that supports meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Black woman and therapist, I deeply value creating affirming spaces for BIPOC, queer, and marginalized individuals to feel seen, safe, and understood. I recognize how identity, culture, relationships, and lived experiences shape the way we move through the world and care for ourselves. My work is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and curiosity, and I strive to create a space where you can show up fully without feeling judged, minimized, or misunderstood.
