About My Clients

I love working with adolescents, peripartum/postpartum individuals, and all those who are highly motivated to change their lives. My practice focuses on the whole you, incorporating lifestyle counseling, supportive alternative treatment recommendations, and the latest psychiatric evidence to create a unique and approachable treatment plan. I value a collaborative environment, one where we can not only partner together in real treatment solutions, but engage deeper through authentic connection.

My Background and Approach

Whether you are struggling with the demands of our current culture, confronting past traumas, or newly pregnant and looking for guidance on psychiatric care, my passion is helping you find your unique path to healing. I work with clients across the lifespan because no matter where you are in your walk of life, you are worthy of help. As a psychiatric provider, I am dedicated to providing integrative mental health care with a focus on patient-centered decision making, evidence based treatment, and trauma informed practice. No one size fits all and I am here to discover with you what works, with support all the way. I work with clients who may have questions about their current diagnosis or treatment plan as well as see new patients eager to improve their lives. The first session is usually 60 minutes and together we will explore your concerns, discuss a treatment plan, and agree on next steps. Most of my clients visit every 2 weeks until they feel stable and every 1-3 months thereafter.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a proud Latina woman who knows that not all Latinos can freely be themselves. I am a woman who knows that not all women look alike. I am a wife, a daughter, a prospective mother who knows loss and knows what it means to fight for your right to choose your own pathway. If you're seeking a provider who deeply listens and understands, know that you can find that here. Asking for help isn't easy in most cases - it requires bravery, humility, and courage. I am here to tell you that you can let your guard down. That your voice is heard and it matters. It matters because we are all humans, struggling to know what being human really means in a changing world. It matters because no matter who you are, what you believe, or how lost you think you are - you are worthy. You are worthy of kindness, compassion, and empathy. I am here to tell you that we all need and want connection, but that together healing is possible.
