About My Clients
I am an advanced practitioner of the groundbreaking new trauma treatment, Deep Brain Reorienting. DBR uniquely addresses core wounds, the pain of traumatic disconnection, and complex trauma. These are the types of wounds that create immense suffering, are quite complex, and require specialized, skilled treatment to heal. When core wounds are left unaddressed, therapy often becomes a process of management and effort.
My Background and Approach
Clients seek care with me because they have plateaued in therapy and still experience significant trauma reactions and chronic survival mode even after years of treatment. For many, common treatments (such as EMDR, Sensorimotor, Somatic Experiencing, etc.) have been insufficient leading to a search for something that brings a deeper sense of relief. I gently guide my clients through skillful deep processing to decrease reactivity and generate wholeness, stability, and vitality. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person enters the world with inherent dignity and value. I approach this work through a justice-based lens and work with the body and brain to confront the impact of systems of oppression, injustice, and dehumanization.
