I specialize in providing counseling to kids and teens, and work with a variety of issues such as ADHD and neurodiversity, anxiety and depression, high sensitivity (highly sensitive child), school issues and learning differences, social skills, relational issues, behavioral challenges, emotion regulation, and social-emotional learning. My Background and Approach
I use play therapy, talk therapy, expressive arts activities, therapeutic games, and experiential exercises to provide a safe and accepting space for kids and teens to express their emotions and process their experiences in a developmentally appropriate way. As a Registered Play Therapist and former teacher with a Master's degree in Special Education, I have advanced training and diverse experience connecting with young people and supporting their development and emotional growth. I believe it's important to work closely with parents to help them support their child's progress. In parent coaching sessions we’ll explore your child's unique needs, learn parenting strategies, and practice relational skills. As a Highly Sensitive Person with ADHD, I enjoy supporting adults with ADHD or high sensitivity. My approach is client-centered and includes both psychotherapy to process the challenges of living in a neurotypical world as well as education and coaching to learn how to thrive.
