About My Clients
I work with youth, adults, and queer couples with a variety of life situations involving trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief. I work with clients from various backgrounds and identities, with particular experience working with LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults and their families.
My Background and Approach
As a queer and nonbinary person who has worked in the public education field for over 10 years, there was always one thing I wanted to be: someone I needed when I was younger. Representation matters, and for the LGBTQIA+ community being visible and understood also matters. That’s where my passion for the mental health field grew into becoming a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. It’s important for me to provide a nonjudgmental and compassionate space for my clients to explore their past childhood, their present selves, and ways to help form the future they are stepping into every moment. I understand the situation of feeling like you are teaching someone about your experiences and identity rather than getting to the root of what you’d like to work on. With that, I will establish a gender/identity-affirming space for you to feel seen and heard.
