About My Clients
My clients are teens and adults navigating expected or unexpected life transitions. They may be grieving a loss, adjusting to parenthood, caring for aging parents, changing careers, healing from trauma, or experiencing shifts in their relationships or identity. They often feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck and are looking for a compassionate space to process what’s changing, build on their strengths, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience as a hospice social worker, supporting individuals and families through grief, caregiving, serious illness, aging, and profound life changes. This experience taught me that transitions can affect your identity, relationships, sense of stability, and hopes for the future—and that healing isn’t about “getting over” what happened, but learning how to carry it while continuing to build a meaningful life. I provide telehealth therapy for teens and adults throughout Michigan who are navigating grief, anxiety, trauma, parenthood, caregiving, relationship or career changes, and other transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I tailor our work to your experiences, strengths, and goals, offering compassionate support, thoughtful reflection, and practical tools. Together, we’ll process what’s changing, strengthen your ability to cope, and help you move forward with greater clarity & confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. I value authenticity, curiosity, and creating an inclusive space where clients can speak openly about their experiences without fear of judgment. I respect each person’s identity, background, relationships, beliefs, and individual path toward healing. I also believe that people are more than the challenges they are facing. My role is not to tell you who to be or what decisions to make, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and make choices that reflect what matters most to you. I’m committed to meeting clients where they are and providing care that is welcoming, collaborative, and affirming.
