About My Clients
Most of my clients are carrying trauma—whether they recognize it as such or not. They often feel stuck in patterns that don't make sense, or experience emotional numbness, anxiety, or burnout. Some are navigating life transitions or parenting challenges while trying to hold it all together. Many have tried therapy before and want something more targeted, more focused. They’re not looking for surface-level advice—they want real change. I work best with people ready to go a little deeper.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) with training in trauma-focused care and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). My approach is client-first: you bring the goals, I bring the tools. I tailor therapy to each individual, drawing from evidence-based methods while staying attuned to what actually works for you. EMDR is often part of our work when there’s trauma in the system, but I never force a method. I believe healing isn’t linear—it’s layered, complex, and absolutely possible. I hold space for all of that.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy should be practical, respectful, and rooted in trust. I don’t think you’re broken—I think you’ve adapted to survive, and those adaptations deserve compassion, not shame. I believe trauma doesn’t just live in the mind—it settles in the body, relationships, and worldview. Healing requires more than just insight; it often takes realignment of patterns, boundaries, and nervous system responses. I also believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative. You're the expert on your experience. My job is to help you connect the dots and move toward the version of life that actually fits you.
