About My Clients
I offer therapy for families, couples, and individuals of all ages. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA2+ community with a drive to work with young people going through the challenging time of coming out. I have extensive experience working with youth of all ages. A self-identified fat person, I am also passionate about walking with clients on the path to body acceptance and body love without the influence of diet culture through listening to the body and giving it what it needs.
My Background and Approach
My practice is guided by a wide variety of therapy modalities and I am committed to creating an individualized therapy plan for each client based on their specific needs and goals. I strive to create a space free of shame and stigma where I can listen without judgment and partner with clients to explore the many facets of their identities, process trauma, and develop a deep love for the self- exactly as it is.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that with the proper support, everyone can lead a full, loving, happy life. To do that, I believe it's important for us to fully understand and embrace all of our identities. As a queer, fat woman living with panic and chronic pain, I can say that loving and taking care of yourself fully is one of the purest forms of happiness. I am passionate about embracing people of all identities and using my privilege to advocate for structural change to create a world where everyone feels held and loved. No matter your gender identity, sexuality, race, ethnicity, size, ability, or profession, together we will create a safe space for you to find your joy and live your best life. My wife and I moved to Denver in 2018 and nature exploration has become a passion for us and our 2 adventurous fur babies, Lola and Dax.
