About My Clients
I focus on assisting clients with trauma, anxiety, maladaptive coping, and habit disorders to build new skill-sets toward greater holistic well-being. While I serve many types of clients with a variety of goals, my practice often focuses on mothers with childhood trauma who are finding it difficult to be the parents they dreamed they would be.
My Background and Approach
I utilize the incredible power of the creative imagination for healing and wellness. My practices focus on mindfulness, somatic (body) awareness, and emotional and creative expression. I specialize in clinical hypnosis, expressive arts, body-oriented psychotherapy, and other methods of guiding people to the subconscious to heal trauma and uncover their true, unconditioned selves. Within this, I incorporate neuroscience, teaching clients how to regulate their nervous systems. You will find me a good match for you if you are curious about what it might be like to step outside the mind and into your body to discover your innate creative and intuitive healing nature.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is founded in the belief that we each have within ourselves the ability to heal. Because we do not exist in a culture that guides us to access our natural healing abilities, we seek guidance and support to learn to use these skills. I believe all therapeutic work is skill-building and emphasize that new skill adaptation is the core of personal and community transformation and growth. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community raised in a conservative environment, I understand identity and belonging issues inherent in being different. I advocate for heart-first educational and child-raising environments so that we foster a generation that changes the world from fear to love.
