About My Clients
You may feel overwhelmed, struggle to concentrate, experience racing thoughts, or find it difficult to navigate relationships. Seeking counseling can feel overwhelming, too, but you don't have to figure everything out alone. I support individuals, couples, and families in understanding challenges, improving communication, and building healthier relationships. You deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Taking the first step toward change starts here.
My Background and Approach
We are all unique, and so are our emotional, mental, and physical needs. Life may feel heavy, anxiety may feel overwhelming, or you may feel misunderstood in a world that doesn’t always make space for who you are. My goal is to help you discover the tools that work for you, so you can better navigate daily life and feel more connected to yourself. I view therapy as a safe space to explore your emotions, past experiences, and trauma, including childhood experiences that may continue to affect you today. Healing is not only about exploring hardships; it is also about learning to recognize your needs, care for yourself, and develop self-compassion. My approach is multidimensional because I believe we cannot neglect one part of ourselves while expecting the whole to heal. Together, we can explore the different aspects of your experiences and work toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live authentically as their unique selves. Mental health is essential to overall well-being, not just something to prioritize during a crisis. As a biracial member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have personally navigated societal and familial pressures while learning to embrace my identity. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, respected, and accepted. I believe therapy is for everyone, not just those experiencing trauma, anxiety, or depression. We all deserve support as we navigate life's challenges, celebrate successes, and better understand ourselves. My goal is to help clients recognize their needs, build self-awareness, and embrace who they are rather than feel pressured to meet others' expectations. I believe healing begins when we give ourselves permission to be authentic.
