Couples therapy is unique in that it gives partners an opportunity to witness each other’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe, contained space that might not currently exist in their daily lives. I work with couples with a range of needs including communication dynamics, sex and intimacy, boundary management, conflict, life transitions, financial hardship, etc.

When working with individuals, I come from a place of curiosity, openness, and exploration while encouraging my clients to do the same. In addition to working with clients to facilitate the growth and change they desire, I also see value in allowing oneself to pause in the space of the unknown to develop a deeper understanding of your patterns, behaviors, and beliefs. Through this observation, it is my hope that individuals are able to find relief from their pain.

Through this collaborative approach, I encourage the exploration of past and present emotions, beliefs, experiences, and behaviors and work with you to develop a deeper understanding of your early life experiences. Through this process, I believe individuals are able to develop meaningful insight into themselves and their lives.

Many of us find ourselves feeling stuck, worried, or overwhelmed with life's challenges. I strive to provide a safe space for clients to better understand and identify the sources of their anxiety with the goal of finding long term relief from the pain and suffering they experience.

For effective work, I believe it takes a unique perspective and understanding of the specific issues men face. In my experience, the social expectations of masculinity can make it difficult for men to find a safe space to talk about many of the issues they face. In my work with male clients, I provide non-judgemental space for them to talk openly about their struggles, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns, which isn’t always available in their existing male relationships.
