About My Clients

I work best with people who want to grow, learn, and practice new skills to create change in their lives. I understand that the weight of depression, anxiety, and stress can feel overwhelming, making it harder to do routine activities and easier to use more alcohol, online media, and other escapes. We'll work together to plan practical steps to find relief while supporting you to manage the ongoing responsibilities of life.

My Background and Approach

My approach is grounded in an understanding of the ways our social identities impact our experiences in the world, and I hold deep compassion for every human, no matter what identities they carry. I have experienced the sense of freedom that comes from resolving old trauma and building new practices that support my well-being. That personal experience fuels my desire to collaborate with people to experiment, learn, let go, and thrive.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we are each innately whole, resilient, and intelligent, and that it is a sign of strength to seek support when we struggle. I believe in the power of love and human connection to support our well-being and evolution as humans. These beliefs have fueled my engagement in social justice work for over twenty years. They motivate me to volunteer on a crisis hotline and for my neighborhood food bank.

I have experience with the following
  • Buddhism
  • Hinduism
  • Judaism
