About My Clients
I work with individuals ages 12- adult who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, past trauma, chronic stress and having difficulty managing their moods. Are you feeling overwhelmed? Is your anxiety keeping you from living the life you want? Are your mood swings and anxiety affecting your relationships? Living with past trauma, anxiety, chronic stress can all have a negative impact on our well being. I can help you gain the tools you need to manage your life and increase your resiliency.
My Background and Approach
The most important part of therapy is establishing a strong therapeutic relationship where individuals safe, understood and heard - this is a strength of mine. I believe that therapy provides the opportunity for people to work on increasing their capacity to cope with their emotions, be able to be more resilient in the face of adversity and to generate a more positive self concept. We do this by learning and identifying how our thoughts (self narrative) can influence our emotions and our behaviors. We will work collaboratively to address your specific symptoms and identify strategies that work for you.
