About My Clients
You're doing a lot. Maybe too much, and probably for too long. You're smart, self-aware, and you've already tried talking about it... yet you still feel stuck. You want something that actually looks under the hood at the deeper patterns and resolves them, not just helps you understand them better. If you're tired of white-knuckling your life and ready to begin the process of deeper, integrative, mind-body-spirit healing, you're in the right place.
My Background and Approach
I'm a licensed therapist and coach with over a decade of clinical experience across some of the most demanding care settings: eating disorder treatment, inpatient psychiatry, integrative primary care, metabolic health coaching, and private practice. I've worked with a lot of high-achieving people who are doing everything right and still feel like they keep spinning their wheels, getting nowhere. My approach goes beyond talk therapy. I draw from somatic and nervous system-based methods, Internal Family Systems, EFT Tapping, and the Safe and Sound Protocol, all tools that work at the level of the body and the nervous system, not just the thinking mind. I'm also a shamanic practitioner in training, which shapes how I think about healing as a whole-person and whole-life process. I believe insight is just the beginning. The real work is helping your nervous system catch up to what you already know, so you can actually feel and be different, not just think differently.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing isn't about becoming a calmer, more optimized version of yourself. It's about becoming more fully enlivened, which sometimes means discomfort and growth. I believe your nervous system isn't broken. It learned what it had to in order to protect you. The work isn't to fight it. It's to support it in becoming current, adaptable, resourced, and resilient. I believe insight without embodiment only gets you so far. You can understand your patterns completely and still repeat them because understanding lives in the head, but healing happens when the body enters the conversation. Done right, nervous system resilience is what makes it possible to stay present for the difficult stuff instead of managing it from a safe distance. And, I believe the people who are hardest on themselves: the over-functioners, the people-pleasers, and the ones who hold everything together have the most capacity for genuine transformation once they stop using that energy against themselves.
