About My Clients
My clients come to be seen and heard in a safe place. We explore their thoughts and emotions as they develop new coping skills and ways of thinking. I work together with you to grow through grief, anxiety, depression, school issues, marital discord, family issues, or addiction. Sometimes you may feel like you are the only one; you don't have to be alone!
My Background and Approach
As a former teacher/principal, I loved it when students or parents would ask "Can we talk?" After I retired from education, I returned to school to earn a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology to be able to support those who are struggling. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals, couples and families. I advanced training in The Gottman Method, grief and ADHD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we can make a difference in our lives and the lives of those around us through our relationships at work, school, community organizations, friends and family. How we spend out time matters as we build meaningful lives.
