About My Clients
Carolyn works primarily with adults, and has experience working with chemical dependency, people living with HIV, LGBTQ+ folks, life transitions, people in non-traditional relationship models (such as polyamory and people belonging to kink communities) and mood disorders.
My Background and Approach
She is a feminist, sex positive, kink positive, polyamory inclusive, and seeks to empower the individual while acknowledging the impact of systemic oppression including racism, sexism, cisgenderism, heterosexism, ableism, ageism, sizeism, and classism.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in social justice principles, and I am a firm believer in meeting the individual where they are at in their healing journey. I am a queer identified therapist, and I will not pathologize your sexual orientation, relational orientation, or erotic orientation.
