Mindfulness is a Building Block in Our Therapy Treatment. At Our Healing Therapy, we use mindfulness techniques to help you stay present, listen attentively, and notice what’s happening around you — inside and outside of our sessions. Mindfulness enables you to make choices in the present that differ from past patterns and empower you to create positive change in your life.

AEDP psychotherapy is an experiential model that seeks to alleviate clients’ suffering by helping to process the overwhelming emotions associated with trauma in a way that facilitates corrective emotional and relational experiences that mobilize positive changes in our neuroplastic brains. Key to the therapeutic action of AEDP is the undoing of aloneness and thus, the co-creation of a therapeutic relationship experienced as both safe haven and secure base where transformational healing can occur

My approach to couples therapy is based on EFT, Terry Real's RLT and Gottman Therapy. I’m experienced working with hetero, non-hetero, multicultural and LGBTQ couples helping them explore monogamous and ENM relationships and intimacy agreements. We can work across the sexuality spectrum--from plain vanilla to unconventional kink.

My practice provides a supportive environment for families who: seek an easier, deeper connection between parent and adult child, want to approach reconciliation after estrangement, and improving family dynamics as new members enter. Finding the path to a securely-attached relationship between parent and adult child can create a foundation to build a more connected relationship. I offer a space to steady the conversations about the past so the present and future is unburdened.

I make use of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). The AEDP model is about experientially making the most of these opportunities for both trauma processing and healing transformation. Through the in-depth processing of difficult emotional and relational experiences, the AEDP clinician fosters the emergence of new and healing experiences for the client, and with them resources, resilience and a renewed zest for life.

My approach to couples therapy is based on EFT, Terry Real's RLT and Gottman Therapy. I’m experienced working with hetero, non-hetero, multicultural and LGBTQ couples helping them explore monogamous and ENM relationships and intimacy agreements and improve communication, disclosure, consent and honesty among all partners. We can explore your human sexuality range--from plain vanilla to unconventional kink--without judgment or shame.

I make use of EFT with couples to address issues across the entire lifespan of a relationship: from orienting a couple when they move in, to premarital counseling, to opening or changing the relationship status, to an amicable separation. I offer a safe space to gain clarity and make joint decisions around & the relationship including improving communication around money and sex.
