Grief therapy is unlike any other type of therapy in that there is not a problem to solve - grief can only be acknowledged and held. I do not offer a 5-step program in how how to get over your grief. With compassion and non-judgement, professional training and the knowing that only comes from personal experience, I offer a space to fully explore the depths of your loss so that you can find the strength to carry it and continue to live.

I love working with teens - suicidal ideation, self-harm, and self-image are common topics that I address.

I am trained in EMDR and it is an integrated part of my approach - not just for trauma, but also for addressing the core beliefs that often guide and impact our daily lives.

While I do not practice strict ACT, I hold an acceptance and commitment therapy bent and approach that influences my interactions with all of my clients.
