About My Clients
If emotional wounds from childhood are impacting your interpersonal functioning, your relationship feels disconnected, and you feel lost, I can help. Relationships have many moving parts, which can often feel overwhelming to navigate. I understand the impact that relational issues can bring into your life, and how difficult it must be to manage. No matter what background you come from, I am committed to knowing and supporting you throughout your journey, and helping you meet the goals you set!
My Background and Approach
I operate out of a holistic lens. I want to know all of your life! I prioritize collaborating with clients on what they want for their partnership, and how we can make the relationship be a safe space for growth, healing, and freedom. I care deeply about uncovering patterns in communication or emotional experience that could be causing a rift in connection. I am also client-centered. You are the expert on your own life and experiences, and I love being able to see you as you are. I honor your beliefs, morals, ethics, and experiences without inserting my own. I value each and every client for their uniqueness, knowing that each person is different. Because each client and relationship is going to be different, I fix my approach to therapy based on what works for you. I use an eclectic approach, bringing in various aspects of different therapy models into my work in order to best serve you and your needs. My goal is to help you meet your goals!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person and relationship is capable of change. While change may look different depending on your experiences and background, change is still accessible and available to you! I am an ally and advocate for all members of the LGBTQ community. I am a believer of equality for all, no matter your race, gender, religious beliefs, and sexual orientation, while also believing that there are marginalized communities within these categories. I will always speak out for those who are discriminated against, while amplifying those voices (since they know best). You are a human being who has so much to offer the world, and I want to honor that every time we see each other.
