My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas with a Master's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. I bring advanced training in attachment theory, betrayal trauma, religious trauma, and LGBTQ+ affirmative care. My approach integrates IFS, Systems Theory, and The Developmental Model alongside emotionally focused and relational methods. This blend allows me to tailor therapy uniquely to each client's needs, helping you untangle complex patterns and build healthier relationships. I believe therapy is a brave, honest partnership rooted in respect, authenticity, and empathy. I am proudly pro-LGBTQ+ and committed to creating an affirming space where all identities are welcomed and honored. I believe in the inherent dignity and worth of every person, and I actively support equality and social justice. I also respect all bodily autonomy and the right to make informed decisions about one's own health. I stand alongside all communities facing discrimination in the U.S., including but not limited to Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC), immigrants, disabled individuals, and religious minorities. My approach is grounded in listening deeply and advocating for clients' needs while encouraging courage and growth. I am dedicated to walking alongside clients who want to bring their full selves to therapy and to life with integrity and compassion.
